Ricoh F-3 is the first member in our family, she is absolutely gorgeous. The camera was given by my father as a birthday gift for my mom. He gave it when he was still dating with her and 3 years later they got married. Now it is almost 30 years old but still look great and work just fine with films. My father still remember the price, it was IDR 34.000 in 1981 and I still remember the very first time I tried it. Thanks to Ricoh, now I had a deep emotional connection with photography.

About a week ago, I'm itching to try out Poudre Compact Éclat et Matité Matt Pressed Powder. I'm not using this for daily wear, because it doesn't matched my skin tone perfectly. I bought it because I'm collecting compact powder. Anyway I much prefer Dior than this. The texture doesn't seem to work with my oily skin type and the powder puff must be store outside the packaging, which I think what a weird compact powder. It is less than IDR 500k although more expensive than their price on website, but around 100k cheaper if you compare with the other type (which you can put the puff applicator inside plus with foundation).

Last week, I had dinner at Chowking (one of my fave fast food), they serve healthy fast food, yet also delicious and cheap. I was wondering when I ordered Halo-Halo Ice, why do they call it Halo-Halo? I mean I thought Halo is Hello, but I guess I was wrong. So here is the source I've found.

"Halo-halo (from Tagalog word halò, "mix") is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served cold in a tall glass or bowl.

In terms of arrangement, most of the ingredients (fruits, beans, and other sweets) are first placed inside the tall glass, followed by the shaved ice. This is then sprinkled with sugar, and topped with either (or a combination of) leche flan, ube halaya, or ice cream. Condensed or evaporated milk is poured into the mixture upon serving."

Now I get it why the ice not named as Hi, because actually Halo is not Hello :p
